Key Responsibilities

•Develop and prototype an augmented reality vision system incorporating multi-spectral sensors, compute, thermal management, and ballistic protection for soldiers.
•Conduct prototyping and evaluation with high autonomy, balancing SWAP-C requirements with ergonomics and packaging needs.
•Design for comfort, fit, and usability to support prolonged wear in tactical environments.
•Work with military specifications and wearable system requirements to ensure rugged, field-ready performance.
•Produce high-quality engineering drawings and manage complex parts/assemblies throughout the development lifecycle.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 129,000 - 190,000 annually

•CAD skills (any platform) and ability to manage complex parts and assemblies, and produce high quality engineering drawings
•Detailed mechanical design for traditional and additive manufacturing from prototype through production with metallics and composites; Ergonomics and Human Factors; Structural/ Thermal Analysis; Manufacturing Processes; Thermal and Environmental Considerations
•Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
