Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform experienced-level bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large area heavy bodywork (including Bondo repair)
  • •Repair multiple vehicle panels and complete assigned bodywork tasks using automotive prep and repair tools
  • •Maintain safety practices by using required safety equipment (e.g., face shield/goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask)
  • •Support Carvana’s customer experience by meeting vehicle readiness expectations, including mandatory overtime when needed
  • •Collaborate as a team player in Carvana’s reconditioning/inspection environment

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience (autobody prepper)
  • •Ability to perform bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large area heavy bodywork (including Bondo repair)
  • •Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools; must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
  • •Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license (some positions may require an MVR check)
  • •Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and sometimes be exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
