Job Summary

Build and support web-based, mobile-aware Java applications and web services as part of an agile IT team. Create and maintain corporate applications across security and environmental/safety portfolios, researching new technologies, troubleshooting complex issues, and optimizing performance. Work with internal customers and project stakeholders to produce specifications, estimates, and on-time delivery, participate in code reviews, and provide 24/7 on-call production support as required.

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
•2 years total development experience and 1 year web application or services experience.
•Familiarity with object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, design patterns, and best practices.
•Basic to intermediate development skills with Java, Spring Boot, XML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Git, Angular, and SOAP/REST.
•Knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL Server, Oracle) and ability to follow security standards; understanding of networking (Sockets, TCP/IP, UDP).
