Job Summary

Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home security and automation systems while acting as Vivint’s on-site expert. Evaluate customer homes to recommend equipment upgrades and service enhancements, and educate homeowners on using their new systems. Work with virtual and on-the-job training plus ongoing coaching. Perform safety analyses of each home and meet physical and licensing requirements to deliver a safe, customer-first experience.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
•Evaluate customer homes and recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
•Train homeowners on how to use their new systems to protect their families.
•Conduct a safety analysis of every home to ensure a safe workplace for technician and customers.
•Leverage consistent coaching and leadership training to grow within the organization.

Key Requirements

•A valid driver’s license and good driving record, with ability to pass post-offer background investigation and licensing requirements.
•Sales mindset with experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales (major plus).
•Customer-first attitude with integrity and ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
•Technical aptitude; experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful (not required).
•Physical ability to lift/carry up to 45 lbs, climb ladders up to 14 feet, work in attics/confined spaces, and stand/bend for extended periods.
