Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, deliver, and update category strategies, including demand/supply market analysis, innovation opportunities, Local Content targets, and savings approaches.
  • •Develop and maintain category/sub-category demand plans and track expiring contracts and new requirements with end users.
  • •Lead sourcing strategy development and sourcing execution through contract award, using procurement levers and considering Local Content and financial analysis/TCO.
  • •Develop and apply negotiation strategies to extract best value and conduct commercial discussions.
  • •Lead supplier relationship management and support contract performance management; ensure contract documentation and systems records are accurate.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree level qualification preferred.
  • •CIPS or other relevant professional qualification/certification/membership desirable.
  • •At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in category management or procurement/supply chain.
  • •Experience managing category strategies including demand and supply market analysis, savings targets, and Local Content objectives.
  • •Ability to lead sourcing execution end-to-end, including negotiation strategies, financial analyses/TCO, and contract documentation accuracy.
