Key Responsibilities

  • •Support geophysical investigations from field data acquisition through processing, interpretation, mapping, and reporting.
  • •Conduct terrestrial, marine, and borehole investigations using seismic (refraction/reflection), MASW, GPR, electromagnetics, magnetics, electrical resistivity imaging, and related methods.
  • •Perform office work including geophysical data processing/interpretation, GIS analysis and mapping, CAD development, data management, QC, technical documentation, and report preparation.
  • •Set up and operate specialized geophysical and survey instrumentation for field data collection, including sensor/cable deployment, equipment troubleshooting, and mobilization.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and small field crews; complete assigned project phases under general supervision and progressively take ownership of field activities and technical tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Geology, Geophysics, Geosciences, Geological Engineering, Environmental Science, Geography/GIS or related field plus 2 years of related experience (or equivalent).
  • •Ability and willingness to travel up to approximately 50% for field investigations, including occasional multi-week assignments.
  • •Ability to perform physically active outdoor field work, including prolonged standing/walking and lifting/carrying equipment up to ~50 pounds.
  • •Valid US Driver’s License and ability to pass AECOM Motor Vehicle screening.
  • •U.S. Citizenship required and candidates must pass drug and medical screenings.
