Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical ownership of plating processes and facilities, optimizing bath integrity, yield, and throughput while troubleshooting plating defects.
  • •Oversee chemical laboratory operations for plating bath control, including analytical methods, calibration/validation, and bath life cycle management.
  • •Ensure quality and compliance with customer specifications and support internal, customer, and regulatory audits while maintaining documentation and traceability.
  • •Partner with EHS to maintain environmental and chemical handling compliance, driving waste reduction, water conservation, and sustainability initiatives.
  • •Lead continuous improvement to improve plant KPIs (PPM, OTP, fill rate, OEE, yield, scrap reduction) using Lean/Six Sigma, automation/digitalization, and cross-functional initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •5–7+ years in electroplating or surface finishing.
  • •5 years of supervisory experience.
  • •Experience with plating chemistry, bath control, and analytical methods.
  • •Experience managing laboratory operations supporting plating processes.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Mechanical Engineering.
