Key Responsibilities

  • •Tool Design & Development: Design and develop tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and dies based on production and process requirements using CAD/CAM software.
  • •Maintenance & Repair: Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of tools, molds, and dies to ensure operational efficiency and longevity.
  • •Schedule periodic inspections for all tools and dies.
  • •Track tool life cycles and usage hours.
  • •Documentation: Maintain tool maintenance logs, keep tool drawings and change records updated, and track inventory and life cycle analyses.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Engineering, or related field.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or tool room environment.
  • •Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MasterCAM).
  • •Knowledge of machining operations (CNC, EDM, Milling, Grinding, etc.).
  • •Strong understanding of tooling materials, heat treatment, and tolerances.
