Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Software Engineering
Seniority: Manager level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Simulation Engineers with clear ownership of production simulation quality.
  • •Own production quality across behavioral fidelity, calibration, reproducibility, latency, throughput, cost, reliability, debuggability, and safe operation.
  • •Define architecture and operating model from research prototype through evaluation, integration, rollout, observation, and continuous improvement.
  • •Establish readiness criteria and build evaluation tooling (benchmarks, ablations, regression suites, launch scorecards) to distinguish faithful simulations.
  • •Run production operations (on-call health, incident response, release safety, rollback, and elimination of recurring operational toil) and partner with Deployment to turn failures into durable tests and fixes.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong software, machine-learning, or systems engineering background with comfort going deep in code and architecture.
  • •Experience leading a small engineering team that shipped and operated an AI/ML/data/distributed system in production.
  • •Ability to turn an underspecified research method into a deterministic, testable, observable, efficient production system.
  • •Experience designing evaluations before trusting improvements and distinguishing benchmark movement from real-world quality gains.
  • •Experience debugging failures that span data, prompts, orchestration, statistical assumptions, services, and user-facing outputs.
