Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the technical point of contact for assigned parts/systems, solving emergent supplier challenges and mitigating launch-manifest risk.
  • •Lead containment activities and drive reliability improvements to protect build and launch schedules.
  • •Intervene with suppliers on critical-path components, drive root-cause resolution, and implement changes as needed at suppliers and/or SpaceX.
  • •Own supplier issue ticket creation and disposition, collaborating with engineering to implement re-work, repair, or use-as-is outcomes.
  • •Conduct DFM reviews and own NPI, PPAP execution, and production part approval to stabilize supply and improve delivery time.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or STEM discipline.
  • •1+ years of experience with manufacturing and/or inspection of mechanical products in a production environment.
  • •Ability to pass an Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral.
  • •Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to meet major milestones.
  • •Valid driver’s license.
