Sr. Staff Product Designer, Design Systems

Define and own a scalable design system’s visual and interaction language for Kong’s platform, setting the craft bar across components, templates, states, and edge cases. Partner with engineering and a Design Technologist to ensure seamless translation into AI prototyping tools and the Figma-to-code workflow, while staying accountable to real shipped UI and eliminating drift. Enable and mentor a ~20-person product design team through guidance, critiques, and systems thinking.
