Job Summary

Help run a venue-wide sustainability program by supporting waste sorting and maximizing landfill diversion during live events. You’ll onboard and train with the Venue Sustainability Crew, assist with mid- and post-show recycling, composting, and donation handling, and educate both fans and venue staff. This seasonal part-time role works varied weekdays/weekends based on the show schedule at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, TX.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in Venue Sustainability Crew onboarding and training.
•Assist in mid- and post-show waste sorting for recycling, composting, donations, and landfill materials.
•Work show days and non-show days (weekdays and weekends) to ensure waste is sorted and diverted.
•Support the Venue Sustainability Manager and Supervisor by educating venue crew members and fans.
•Maintain a clean sorting area and support post-show pick after each event.

Key Requirements

•Strong time management to show up on time and work late hours.
•Be able to work outside in variable weather and handle physically demanding tasks (walking, bending, reaching, stooping, lifting/carrying 50+ lbs).
•Not afraid to get dirty or be around unpleasant odors while sorting materials.
•A positive attitude and strong teamwork to execute the sustainability program.
•Experience in events/zero waste events is a plus.
