Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow MRP signals to create work orders timely to satisfy customer demand, achieve safety stock targets, and maintain production-line workflow aligned to the Master Production Schedule.
  • •Create and deliver production plans and sequences to achieve OTD, sales, and productivity goals.
  • •Coordinate with product line supervisors/leaders and purchasing teams to ensure schedule attainment and drive schedule recovery when needed.
  • •Monitor and report material shortages to the purchasing area and manage production control status of work orders, investigating schedule-impact factors and modifying the production plan as necessary.
  • •Communicate proactively with the customer service team to meet expectations and maintain up-to-date backlog status; support escalation processes, NPI, planning lead backup, and quality standards for customer requirements and certifications.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Administration.
  • •3+ years of production planning experience in an automotive manufacturing environment (or similar).
  • •3+ years of MRP planning experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of SAP and Excel.
  • •Ability to communicate in English and Spanish; APICS certification is preferred.
