Key Responsibilities

  • •Organize and supervise execution of dredging cutter suction works, ensuring quality, safety, and environmental care with minimal risk to persons and equipment.
  • •Schedule and manage personnel and auxiliary vessels to perform works as planned; make operational decisions to carry out work safely and in compliance with laws and company procedures.
  • •Oversee daily production reporting and consult with the Project Manager and project team on operational progress; report defects and accidents/events.
  • •Exercise overall control of CSD maintenance and operation, welfare, discipline, and training of the crew; teach and guide the crew in dredging techniques and deck/engine room activities.
  • •Track maintenance and production metrics (e.g., pumped cubic meters and wear/track for soil conveying parts), implement maintenance plans, execute ISM management and required drills/inspections, and ensure quality tasks per the project quality plan.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or degree or equivalent professional qualification and experience.
  • •STCW code, including Basic and Manila amendments.
  • •Hold a valid statutory license issued by the flag authority for the specific on-board job.
  • •Be familiar with SMS (safety management system) and conduct risk assessment / PTW.
  • •Supervise and guide dredging activities onboard, teaching crew daily to improve quality, safety, technical reliability, and production.
