Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on cost strategies, including vendor prequalification, assessing proposals/bids, attending bid interviews, and making bid leveling recommendations.
  • •Develop and review project estimates, present estimates to clients, and support value engineering recommendations and risk assessments.
  • •Establish cost reporting schedules and produce cost reports and forecasts, including maintaining a commercial risk register and facilitating periodic meetings with stakeholders.
  • •Manage cost control including payment application reviews, recommending contractor entitlements, reviewing change orders, and supporting dispute prevention/management/resolution.
  • •Manage invoicing and final accounting, including post-contract audits/account close outs and post-contract reviews to create lesson learned documentation and training materials.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 120,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a cost management role in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is valuable.
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large construction projects.
  • •Strong communication skills and good knowledge of construction procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
