Job Summary

Oversee the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of an asphalt plant, leading day-to-day production activities while helping drive a safety-first culture. Supervise, coach, and onboard plant personnel, manage workforce assignments, and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA/MSHA requirements. Maintain equipment and facilities to minimize downtime, uphold cleanliness standards, and communicate operational issues and solutions to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Champion a safety-first workplace and support a zero-incident goal for yourself and your team.
•Supervise, evaluate, coach, and inspire plant personnel; manage workforce assignments to maximize productivity.
•Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA/MSHA regulations, and industry best practices.
•Plan and oversee daily plant maintenance to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
•Identify operational challenges, report major issues to supervisors, and help with onboarding and mentoring.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required; higher education or technical certifications are a plus.
•Valid driver’s license and proof of ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check.
•At least 2 years of related experience in a plant, industrial, or construction setting strongly preferred.
•Must be 18 years of age or older and able to follow safety protocols at all times.
•Willingness to travel or work away from home and flexibility to work nights, weekends, or extended hours.
