Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist during rigging-up and rigging-down of cementing service equipment, including spotting cement storage vessels and rigging appropriate data monitoring equipment.
  • •Learn and apply basic oil well operations, including volumes/pressures, plug landing pressures, and burst/collapse related concepts.
  • •Assist in operations of cement pumping/mixed equipment, blenders, liquid additive metering, pumps, data acquisition, ADC systems, bulk cement blending, and plug releasing tools.

Key Requirements

  • •Under supervision, assist in rigging-up and rigging-down cementing service equipment, including spotting cement vessels and pre-mixing spacer fluids.
  • •Learn basic oil well operations such as pressure/volume calculations, plug landing pressures, hydrostatic/differential pressure, and cement blending calculations.
  • •Assist in cement pumping and mixed equipment operations, including blenders, liquid additive metering systems, pumps, data acquisition systems, and ADC systems.
  • •Hold a high school diploma (or equivalent) and have 3–6 months of experience as an Operator Assistant I – Cementing or 1 year of related oilfield services experience.
  • •Must have a Class A CDL, pass required background/physical/drug screening, be able to lift 60 lbs, and follow routine oral and written instructions.
