Job Summary

Apprentice engineering role in Emerson’s Nuclear Engineering Regulatory & Safety team (Cernay, Alsace, France). You’ll help understand regulatory requirements for nuclear valve components, draft regulatory documents for the ESPN valves in the EPR2 project, and learn manufacturing processes while applying RCC-M, DESP and ESPN guidelines in a highly regulated, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Understand and analyze regulatory requirements related to nuclear valve (robinetterie) components.
•Draft and update regulatory documents for ESPN valves within the EPR2 project.

•Apply regulatory standards such as RCC-M, DESP and ESPN, and related policies.
•Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure data consistency and contribute to continuous improvement of documentary and technical processes.

Key Requirements

•Enrolled in an engineering school (mechanical, nuclear or related) at Bac+3 to Bac+5.
•Proficiency with office tools (Word, Excel).
•Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
•Ability to read and understand technical plans and calculation notes.
•Contract type for learning (apprenticeship, professionalization or internship) required.
