Job Summary

Strategic North American packaging sourcing leader responsible for end-to-end packaging category strategy across CA and US, building and leading a high-performing NA Packaging Sourcing Organization, driving cost, quality, and supply chain performance, and partnering with cross-functional teams to support HelloFresh’s growth across traditional meal kits to ready-to-eat formats.

Job Function: Procurement & Sourcing

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, coach, and develop a team of Strategy Managers across core packaging categories (Corrugated, Liners, Media, Ice, RTE packaging), fostering a high-performance culture grounded in HelloFresh’s DNA.
•Develop and execute short and long-term NA packaging sourcing roadmap that supports HelloFresh’s growth strategy across brands and product formats — from traditional meal kits to RTE meals, smoothies, and beyond
•Set and oversee the achievement of OKRs on cost, supply chain resilience, innovation, supplier performance, and team development
•Identify and pursue opportunities to platform sourcing globally, leveraging HelloFresh’s international scale where beneficial
•Lead multi-million dollar contract negotiations and RFP processes across key packaging categories, applying a total cost of ownership (TCO) lens to all commercial decisions

Salary: CAD 167,000 - 180,000 annually

Key Requirements

•12+ years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, with significant packaging category experience.
•Hands-on experience in RFPs, contract negotiations, category strategy development, and supplier performance management
•Strong financial acumen including budget management, TCO modeling, and cost driver analysis
•Demonstrated experience building and leading high-performing sourcing teams, ideally across multiple geographies or business units
•Flexibility to travel (up to 25%)
