Job Summary

Maintain and troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment on rotating 12-hour shifts, ensuring safe and secure work practices. Support Safe Quality Food (SQF) guidelines and follow company SOPs and Code of Conduct. Perform preventive maintenance, repair and program VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, motors, and related systems, including correcting unsafe conditions and investigating accidents. Provide tools, identify electrical inefficiencies, and assist with installation and electrical production procedures as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Comply with job safety practices, policies, and procedures for safe performance of assigned work.
•Support and follow SQF (Safe Quality Food) guidelines and maintain a safe and secure work environment, including participating in safety meetings and inspections and investigating accidents.
•Maintain and service electrical equipment (e.g., gas mixers, burners, de-ionized water units, air compressors, plant air circulation, cooling/heating units, ultrasonic cleaners, waxers, and plant lighting).
•Troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and program VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, motors, and other related electrical equipment.
•Perform preventive maintenance, identify electrical inefficiencies or potential problems, maintain required hand tools, and assist with design/experimentation/installation of plant equipment as assigned.

Key Requirements

•Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting, HMI, and industrial electrical networking.
•Working knowledge of equipment fundamentals including multimeter use, solid state circuitry, electronics, AC/DC motors, and wiring diagrams/schematics.
•Basic knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
•Ability to troubleshoot equipment using logic and understand operating principles of assigned electrical test equipment and hand tools.
•Technical training in a related field (technical school or equivalent electrical/electronics work experience), with ability to lift up to 50 pounds and follow safety practices.
