Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Safety Committee and employee engagement initiatives to foster open communication and support a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
  • •Implement and improve HIRARC, conduct HIRARC workshops, and assess environmental impacts for existing operations and new projects.
  • •Support internal and external audits and EHS tours, inspections, and assessments, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • •Provide EHS First and technical expertise, including legal/regulatory interpretations, sampling, and reporting requirements for operations and new projects.
  • •Drive EHS CA/PA/Suggestion activities, trend analysis for improvement opportunities, develop and deliver EHS training, and maintain leadership safety tours and boards/trackers.

Key Requirements

  • •Knowledge in occupational/environmental safety and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in EHS or engineering-related fields, or equivalent experience with a high school diploma or GED.
  • •Experience in an EHS-specific role and willingness to obtain an OSHA 10-hour certification.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver effective training and interface across all organizational levels, including shop floor personnel.
  • •2 to 4 years of hands-on EHS experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • •Experience with IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems (preferred).
