Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and administer the WPRO Regional Data Platform and Data Explorer, including security/dependency updates, backend and feature updates, service supervision, and tested backup/restoration.
  • •Maintain data and access layers and interoperability modules, progress integration with emerging global/regional databases (e.g., World Health Data Hub) subject to readiness.
  • •Maintain and extend country health intelligence platforms, including indicator registry/compilers, data quality layers, ingestion pipelines (validation, review, rollback), and programme activity/output/budget/expenditure exploration.
  • •Build the Primary Health Care Maturity Index application and dashboards; implement the methodology, validate results with national/subnational counterparts, train staff, and document/hand over the application.
  • •Maintain AI-assisted analysis features and data protection controls across platforms (grounded context, prompt configuration, caching, knowledge base, provenance/residency governance), and keep the online survey system/CLEAR+ updated with user/role administration, plus custom digital forms and exportable reporting dashboards.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 425 daily

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in information and technology, computer science, technology management, knowledge management, or a related field from a recognized university.
  • •Minimum 8 years of experience developing and managing information and database systems.
  • •Full-stack web development experience with both frontend and backend application development.
  • •Experience developing online survey systems and web-based data collection tools, including custom digital forms and dashboards/reporting tools (preferably in health information systems).
  • •Strong programming/scripting skills for full-stack development (JavaScript, PHP, Python) and database design/administration using SQL, with secure user/account administration.
