Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own the platform architecture roadmap for a domain, including target state and path to it.
  • •Design scalable, secure, cost-efficient architectures for high-throughput, low-latency multi-tenant workloads and establish architecture standards and review practices.
  • •Architect and build cloud-native services and APIs, including service decomposition, API contracts, messaging/event flows, caching, and database-layer design.
  • •Drive reliability, performance, observability, and deep root-cause analysis for complex production issues; define SLOs, resilience patterns, and capacity planning.
  • •Provide architectural guidance across teams, lead architecture reviews and technical decision-making, and mentor senior/staff engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • •14+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or systems architecture in modern distributed SaaS environments.
  • •Expert-level hands-on backend engineering in Java, Python, Go, or equivalent.
  • •Proven experience designing and operating enterprise-scale, multi-tenant SaaS platforms with measurable throughput/latency/availability under failure.
  • •Strong distributed systems fundamentals (consistency/idempotency, retries/backpressure, concurrency, caching, database design/optimization) and production debugging skills in Linux/cloud environments.
