Job Summary

Design and implement end-to-end data migration from Informatica PowerCenter to a modern data stack as a hands-on delivery anchor. Convert complex Informatica workflows into Python EL scripts and dbt transformation models, build Airflow DAG orchestration, and ensure production-quality, functionally equivalent outputs. Develop data loading pipelines for high-volume tables, create dbt/Python tests and quality checks, and troubleshoot performance and reconciliation issues during SIT/UAT while contributing documentation and code reviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Assess complex Informatica workflows (sessions, mappings, parameterizations) and translate them into equivalent Python EL scripts and dbt transformation models.
•Develop and maintain Python extract/load pipelines to land high-volume data into the target warehouse using SQLAlchemy and database connectivity tools and bulk export/import utilities.
•Build dbt models from Informatica mapping logic, applying dbt best practices such as layering, macros, incremental strategies, and snapshot patterns.
•Create dbt-native tests and custom Python unit tests to validate transformation correctness and data quality.
•Orchestrate Python EL and dbt end-to-end with Airflow DAGs; support CI/CD with GitLab, perform code reviews, and troubleshoot performance/data discrepancies during SIT/UAT with row-count reconciliation.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of Informatica PowerCenter experience with mappings, sessions, workflows, and parameterization.
•3+ years hands-on dbt Core experience including model layering, macros, tests, and incremental materializations.
•3+ years Airflow experience with DAG authoring, task dependencies, and scheduling/orchestration.
•5+ years of Python experience using parallelism and batch data processing in production.
•5+ years of SQL experience with complex joins, window functions, and aggregations; experience with high-volume data movement tools like Oracle Data Pump or SQL Server BCP/BULK INSERT.
