Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure personal safety and co-worker safety while complying with federal and state environmental regulations.
  • •Monitor and operate Equistar unit equipment, evaluate operating status, and troubleshoot processes and equipment.
  • •Record data readings and continuously observe process conditions using plant data/control systems.
  • •Perform minor maintenance, place systems in a safe condition for maintenance, and enter SAP work notifications.
  • •Participate in training, committees, and continuous improvement activities; support training and skill development of other operations technicians.
