Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide field engineering, contract administration, inspection, testing, surveying, and quality control on construction projects
  • •Act as primary contact between the client, project team, and contractors
  • •Manage the construction management team, including sub-consultants
  • •Attend and may lead construction meetings with client and contractors
  • •Ensure adherence to project schedules and identify non-conforming work

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering-related field or equivalent
  • •A minimum of 10 years of directly relevant experience, including Resident Engineer or related roles
  • •Working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and materials (e.g. Caltrans)
  • •Ability to read and interpret contract documents
  • •Effective oral and written communication skills
