Key Responsibilities

  • •Work safely at all times and promote the Pick-n-Pull Safety Culture, including collaborating on safety and wearing PPE correctly.
  • •Adhere to and model company policies and procedures for compliance and professionalism.
  • •Safely remove materials and fluids such as Freon, power steering fluid, power brake fluid, batteries, excess garbage, gasoline, coolant, waste oil, transfer case oil, and catalytic converters.
  • •Dismantle engines and transmissions, remove tires and selected core items, and harvest cores and other materials while maintaining the crush pad work area to minimize downtime.
  • •Position vehicles on wheel stands for customer access and assist with customer needs, shipping prep (Gaylord boxes/pallets), regulatory and tracking logs, stormwater control devices, and equipment inspection/upkeep.

  • •Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, including understanding basic safety messages, labels, and hazard communications related to fluids and flammable materials.
