Job Summary

Build and unit/integration test APIs and integrations for a new end-to-end Zurich Edge Insurance Platform, designed for automation and straight-through processing. You’ll design domain-centric REST/JSON microservices, implement synchronous and asynchronous patterns, document APIs with Swagger, troubleshoot integration defects, and support CI/CD practices. Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver integration details and contribute to agile/DevOps delivery using modern cloud and database technologies.

•Build a deep understanding of business requirements to develop integrations and APIs.
•Design domain-centric APIs and build integrations and microservices APIs using REST/JSON.
•Implement microservices using asynchronous design patterns and support synchronous approaches where needed.
•Document APIs using Swagger and use Swagger/Postman for API development and testing.
•Troubleshoot integration defects, participate in CI/CD processes, and interface with other internal and external teams for integration details.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of programming experience.
•Experience with TypeScript and the NestJS framework.
•Experience building and testing REST/JSON APIs and integrations, including Swagger and Postman.
•Experience integrating with AWS components such as S3 and SQS.
•Experience with PostgreSQL and API integration design patterns.
