Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent Fluidstack at town halls, public hearings, planning commission meetings, and community events as the primary external face across active development sites.
  • •Build and maintain relationships across a wide stakeholder matrix: elected officials, city/county staff, utility partners, school districts, nonprofits, and trade associations.
  • •Identify and get ahead of organized opposition before capital is committed, surfacing reputational, regulatory, and political risk in coordination with Development, Legal, and Commercial teams.
  • •Deploy community benefit commitments, including local hiring programs, educational partnerships, and grants, and translate infrastructure complexity into clear narratives for community, government, and executives.
  • •Manage external partners, including lobbyists, consultants, and PR agencies, across multiple concurrent site campaigns.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 250,000 annually

  • •Be the named external face for large infrastructure projects, handling public hearings and building coalitions that move projects forward.
  • •Manage a stakeholder map with elected officials, regulators, community organizations, utilities, and keep relationships functional under pressure.
  • •Identify political or reputational risk early and take action to prevent opposition from organizing.
  • •Write and speak clearly to convey complex infrastructure stories to diverse audiences, including city council members and executives.
  • •Directly managed lobbyists, PR firms, or political consultants: set briefs, hold them accountable, and step in when speed is not sufficient.
