Job Function: Energy & Utilities Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform maintenance, upkeep, and cleaning of pipeline and terminal facilities (including painting, weed control, and housekeeping).
  • •Monitor and maintain station activity reporting and documentation for readings, over/short reporting, and oil movement orders.
  • •Complete pipeline and facility checks, troubleshoot abnormal conditions, and safely operate equipment including valves, LACT/metering systems, and drain systems.
  • •Conduct measurement and product movement activities, including gauging tanks, performing BSW tests, reviewing daily/monthly balances, and originating custody transfer tickets.
  • •Inspect and maintain pipeline security and respond to abnormal/emergency events, including detecting and responding to leaks and supporting leak repairs.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Ability to speak, read, and write English and perform basic math.
  • •Ability to read and interpret pipeline maps, technical drawings, and technical schematics.
  • •Basic knowledge of product measurement and petroleum characteristics (e.g., gauging, metering, meter proving, BS&W, flash, gravity/viscosity).
  • •Must be familiar with PHMSA and OSHA regulations and be able to complete required Haz-Mat/DOT safety training.
