Job Summary

Build value-added relationships with customers to understand financial needs and recommend appropriate investment solutions. Prospect both within the bank and externally to generate referrals and bring in new clients, while managing customer relationships to increase wallet share and identify cross-referral opportunities. Complete required BSA/AML and other compliance training, maintain alertness and safety, and support ongoing business needs through related assigned duties.

Key Responsibilities

•Prospect within the financial institution by building relationships with client-facing associates to generate referrals.
•Prospect outside the financial institution to build external referral sources and bring new clients to the bank.
•Sell by understanding customer needs and offering appropriate solutions that highlight product features and benefits.
•Manage customer relationships to increase wallet share and pursue cross-referral opportunities across associates.
•Complete required BSA/AML and other assigned compliance training and perform related duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

•Equivalent to a four-year college degree plus 2 years related experience and/or training, and 19 to 23 months related management experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
•Use communication skills to write reports and business correspondence and effectively present information to managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
•Apply mathematical and critical thinking skills to analyze information, interpret technical instructions, and draw valid conclusions.
•Maintain or pass NASD Series 7 within 90 days and maintain or pass NASD Series 66 within 90 days.
•Advanced proficiency with contact management, databases, PowerPoint, and spreadsheets (intermediate word processing/typing; basic accounting).
