Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with front-to-back stakeholders as a control owner to ensure reporting obligations are met timely and accurately.
  • •Implement and monitor controls across exceptions, reconciliations, quality assurance, and pairing/matching to reduce reporting risk.
  • •Mitigate under-reporting, over-reporting, and mis-reporting risks identified by controls.
  • •Escalate issues and collaborate with stakeholders to implement strategic solutions, including management information dashboards for KPIs and risk indicators.
  • •Respond to counterparty queries and exchange information, and manage audit and business queries within agreed service level agreement times.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in banking/finance/risk management with understanding of the end-to-end trade lifecycle and OTC derivative product characteristics.
  • •Strong foundation in risk management principles, controls framework, and awareness of global trade/transaction reporting regulations.
  • •Technical understanding of how systems propagate data, calculate risk, and produce regulatory reports.
  • •Analytical skills to process large volumes of data and deliver actionable insights.
  • •Knowledge of ETL tools (QlikView, Power BI) and coding skills in VBA, Python, and SQL; experience in a risk/control environment within a global investment bank/financial institution.
