Job Summary

Build and optimize TikTok’s smart e-commerce supply chain by developing global logistics and warehousing models using data analysis, machine learning, and operation research. Create supply chain data portraits and knowledge graphs, forecast commodity demand, and recommend vendor stocking and production capacity improvements. Design optimization models and algorithms for decision-making, and partner with Operations and R&D to implement and communicate results.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and optimize global logistics and warehousing networks to improve efficiency and reduce operational cost.
•Create supply chain data portraits and knowledge graphs across dimensions like vendors, commodity, origin, inventory, production capacity, and fulfillment quality.
•Develop data-driven control-adjustment methods to enhance operational outcomes and user experience.
•Analyze global e-commerce trends to optimize commodity supply, forecast demand, recommend vendor stocking, and enhance production capacity.
•Build optimization models and design algorithms for decision optimization, including warehouse layout, inbound/outbound logistics, vehicle routing, and inventory stocking/allocation.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree or above in computer/automation/statistics/mathematics/logistics/operations research.
•More than 2 years of experience in machine learning and data mining.
•Coding experience solving LP/IP problems using Gurobi, CPLEX, SCIP, ORTools, and languages such as Python/Go/Java/C++.
•Machine learning, data analytics, and feature engineering experience.
•Strong communication skills and the ability to understand and adapt to underlying business logic.
