Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete enrollment tasks and follow up on credentialing-based holds and denials to resolution.
  • •Process Enrollment Worklist items including credentialing status, payer affiliation, forms, and online enrollments.
  • •Assist with EDI, ERA, EFT, and Athena payor portal access.
  • •Update and maintain payer enrollment groups and statuses as directed by lead or administration.
  • •Escalate, track, and trend payer/provider/billing platform issues and report updates to client and upper administration.

Key Requirements

  • •Athena experience required.
  • •3+ years of applicable experience in credentialing and enrollment, with multi-specialty experience preferred.
  • •Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in a business/healthcare environment.
  • •Experience working in a medical billing environment with HIPAA and protected health information compliance strongly enforced.
  • •Advanced knowledge of credentialing databases or reporting systems, plus excellent written and verbal communication and strong attention to detail.
