Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop accurate, timely, and professional estimates for assigned opportunities covering BMS/HVAC systems and Security, and possibly Fire, including scope, material, and labor effort.
  • •Work with sales and regional proposal/estimation teams, and collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and others to agree on cost assessments and anticipate risks and synergies.
  • •Compare sales information to delivered information and provide guidance for competitive estimating on future jobs.
  • •Conduct internal and technical reviews, assist in proposal reviews and management approvals, and develop detailed bills of materials and risk analyses as needed.
  • •Obtain vendor quotes, support final negotiations and customer meetings, and ensure 100% compliance with Health and Safety policies, processes, and audits.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electronic, mechanic, building automation engineering, or a related field.
  • •Demonstrated proficiency with Excel/Word/PowerPoint and basic knowledge of AutoCAD, including developing Excel macros to expedite estimation.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Ability to operate collaboratively as part of a team.
  • •Understanding of digital/cloud technologies.
