Key Responsibilities

  • •Efficiently and accurately perform teller functions in accordance with policies, standards, and security procedures.
  • •Receive and process deposits and loan payments, and process transfers between accounts.
  • •Cash checks and other negotiable instruments; examine documents for endorsements and negotiability.
  • •Sell traveler's checks, official checks, and money orders; process credit card cash advances.
  • •Verify and balance cash daily, detect and resolve discrepancies promptly, and complete required reports and records accurately and timely.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •Understanding of bank operations preferred.
  • •At least one year of related experience/cash handling preferred; previous teller experience preferred.
  • •Good communication, math, and typing skills; ability to operate related business equipment (adding machine, copy machine, coin and money counting machines, telephone).
