Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in Control & Diagnostic System integrated product teams to develop embedded, real-time control and monitoring systems for military gas turbine engine applications.
  • •Collaborate with control system, engine system, and aircraft design engineers during system development and integration.
  • •Work with airframe customers to develop and conduct Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA) and lead Preliminary and final System Safety Assessments (PSSA/SSA).
  • •Perform safety and reliability analyses and reporting, including SSHA, FMECA, FTA, Common Mode Analysis (CMA), and Single Event Effect (SEE/SEU/EMI) analysis.
  • •Define and develop reliability and safety mitigation requirements (redundancy, fault detections/accommodations/annunciations, and maintenance procedures) to support robust, fault-tolerant control system design.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • •5 years of engineering experience or 3 years with an advanced degree.
  • •Experience performing safety and reliability analysis and reporting across system and subsystem levels.
  • •Hands-on experience relevant to engine control subsystems (or similar applications).
