Job Summary

Build next-generation cloud services and web components for Adobe’s Cloud Platform & Collaboration experiences. You’ll compose scalable, high-performance APIs and GraphQL queries using Java and Node.js, define and refine API contracts, and partner with Product, Design, and Platform teams to ship reusable web components. Own system parts end-to-end from design through production, using modern and AI-assisted development practices while improving performance, scalability, and data durability.

•Compose scalable, high-performance APIs and GraphQL queries in Java and Node.js services, focusing on performance, scalability, consistency, and data durability.
•Partner with Product, Design, and Platform teams to ship high-quality experiences in reusable web components.
•Work with front-end and back-end engineers to define and refine API contracts.
•Use modern practices and AI-assisted tooling to maintain tight iteration cycles and high quality, owning parts of the system end-to-end.
•Help shape the team’s technical direction through design reviews, prototypes, and candid debate.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 93,200 - 179,200 annually

Key Requirements

•2+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping non-trivial systems to production (JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, or Java preferred).
•Basic understanding of UI frameworks (layout, rendering, theming, or performance).
•Passion for solving complex problems while keeping software fast, reliable, and maintainable.
•Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with comfort giving and taking direct feedback.
•Nice to have: experimenting with AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., Claude Code).
