Key Responsibilities

  • •Define the certification basis for equipment/system/product line, identify regulatory changes, and create deployment plans.
  • •Negotiate and clarify the certification basis with the client, set the certification strategy, assess risks, and allocate responsibilities between client and Thales.
  • •Adjust certification strategy, define project roadmap, cascade certification requirements to centers, coordinate all certification activities, and ensure quality and coherence of deliverables.
  • •Monitor regulatory evolutions in civil/military aviation and influence standards through participation in working groups (EASA, ASD, GIFAS) and industry bodies.
  • •Establish and maintain relationships with civil/military navigability authorities (DGA, EASA, FAA) ensuring alignment and certification acceptance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's + 5 (BAC+5) with at least 3 years of professional experience in civil or military certification.
  • •Good knowledge of avionics systems and technical competencies in aerospace and navigability.
  • •Proficiency with avionics certifications such as Part 21 and FRA 21 and related aviation regulations (e.g., Part/CS 23, 25, 27, 29, ETSO).
  • •Ability to define and manage a certification baseline, identify regulatory changes, and deploy certification plans.
  • •Experience establishing relationships with authorities (DGA, EASA, FAA) and coordinating certification activities across centers.
