Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic legal input and guidance to Centene business leaders to develop solutions to legal and regulatory challenges.
  • •Support legal matters with increasing responsibility for national-level and/or Company-wide issues.
  • •Act as primary counsel for multiple business functions including business development, procurement (including bid protests), network development, operations, compliance, and internal audit.
  • •Develop and recommend legal structures for business opportunities such as joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and contractual relationships, including drafting and negotiating related documents.
  • •Manage outside counsel as necessary and recommend legal training and preventative law activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor (JD) required.
  • •Bar admission and currently in good standing required.
