Job Summary

Support the Head of Commercial Finance with data gathering, spreadsheet-based analysis, and month-end reporting to help drive the FY27 budget cycle and forecasting. Build and improve trackers, reports, and analytical tools; update dashboards and reconcile data to ensure reporting accuracy. Collect and review business commentary, produce ad hoc insights (e.g., headcount and commissions), and provide administrative and continuous improvement support for the Commercial Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the Head of Commercial Finance with data gathering, analysis, and preparation for annual budget and forecasting.
•Assist with month-end reporting, including updating dashboards, reconciling data, and ensuring reporting accuracy.
•Collect, consolidate, and review business commentary as part of the month-end reporting process.
•Build, maintain, and improve spreadsheet-based trackers, reports, and analytical tools to support business performance.
•Produce ad hoc reports (e.g., headcount analysis, commission reporting, performance metrics) and provide administrative support to the Commercial Finance team.

Key Requirements

•3-5 years’ relevant experience in finance, data analysis, reporting, or a similar analytical role.
•Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience using finance systems.
•Experience using TM1/IBM Planning Analytics or a similar FP&A, reporting, or analytical system (advantageous).
•Comfortable working with large data sets and general finance systems.
•Good communication skills and ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels.
