Job Summary

Lead and manage the implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements across Port Cluster Oil & Gas operations. Provide technical oversight for regulatory compliance, ISO 45001/14001-aligned integrated management systems, process safety (PSM), incident investigation, and emergency preparedness. Manage and develop HSE Engineers, support contractor training, and report HSE performance to senior leadership to strengthen operational resilience and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the development, implementation, and continual improvement of HSE procedures, safe work instructions, standards, and guidelines across Oil & Gas operations.
•Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Abu Dhabi HSE regulations, Civil Defense requirements, and environmental legislation.
•Lead Process Safety Management initiatives, including HAZOP, PHA, and MOC processes.
•Oversee permit-to-work systems and controls for high-risk activities such as hot work, confined space entry, lifting operations, and SIMOPS.
•Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, corrective/preventive actions, and emergency response planning activities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
•NEBOSH IGC, NEBOSH Diploma in Oil & Gas, or an equivalent recognized HSE qualification.
•Advanced training in Process Safety Management (PSM) and Incident Investigation methodologies.
•Lead Auditor certification in ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 is preferred.
•Minimum 7–10 years of progressive HSE experience in Oil & Gas, refinery, marine, industrial, or similar high-risk environments.
