Key Responsibilities

•Architect and implement observability: design, build, and lead comprehensive monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions with real-time visibility into system health and performance.
•Define and drive reliability standards: collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement and track SLOs/SLIs and report on reliability metrics.
•Lead incident management and response: act as a senior leader during high-impact incidents, conduct blameless post-mortems, and drive preventative measures and runbooks to reduce MTTR.
•Drive automation and infrastructure as code: build automation to eliminate toil, maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using Terraform or Pulumi, and create self-healing systems.
•Optimize performance on Kubernetes: tune and optimize large-scale cloud deployments focusing on Kubernetes, Docker, and GCP to reduce latency and improve capacity planning.

Key Requirements

•8-10 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar roles (e.g., DevOps, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering)
•Strong programming skills in Python or Go
•Deep understanding of distributed systems and service-oriented architectures
•Experience with container orchestration platforms, specifically Kubernetes
•Experience designing and maintaining monitoring and observability solutions (metrics, logging, tracing)
