Key Responsibilities

  • •Support culturally appropriate interventions and wellbeing programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander prisoners.
  • •Facilitate connections with Elders, community organisations and culturally significant programs.
  • •Advocate for prisoners’ cultural, welfare and reintegration needs.
  • •Develop strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • •Provide guidance on cultural practices and supporting culturally safe service delivery.
