Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage Production and Maintenance areas within the Winterbourne site, supporting plant management with the Plant Leadership Team.
  • •Deliver production volumes, costs, and Capex, and define/manage organizational processes and improvements including roles, headcount, shifts, and activities.
  • •Execute the production plan by optimizing capacity to meet demand and defining/verifying KPIs to control process performance.
  • •Drive continuous improvement and innovation, promoting Amcor values and elevating team performance through collaboration, motivation, and engagement.
  • •Coordinate safety and compliance activities, supporting the HSE system, safety procedures, worker training, and strict hygiene and product integrity standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven senior operations management experience in a fast-paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment.

  • •First-hand experience with Lean and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
  • •Proactive, positive leadership and people skills to embed safety culture across the organization.
  • •A degree in a Science, Technology or Engineering subject (preferred).
