Key Responsibilities

  • •Support Principal Consultants and Associate Directors on technical, managerial, and financial matters.
  • •Mentor and guide junior staff to enhance technical skills and professional development.
  • •Help prepare scope and fee estimates and ensure projects are delivered to budget and meet KPIs.
  • •Lead pedestrian modelling work including modelling, calibration/validation, and resolving complex modelling issues.
  • •Prepare client-ready reports and presentations and support client engagement and technical advice.

Key Requirements

  • •Technically lead pedestrian modelling projects, including developing models, calibration and validation, and producing reports and presentations.
  • •Strong experience using pedestrian modelling software such as Legion or Viswalk.
  • •Good experience in data collection and data analysis, with strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • •Relevant BSc/MSc/BEng in Civil Engineering or Transport planning, plus familiarity with guidance such as NR SCPDM and TfL Best Practice Guidance – Modelling with LEGION and the Green Guide.
  • •Supervision/mentoring skills for junior staff, plus client contact and liaison experience.
