Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, write, and maintain production-quality detections, automations, and integrations to scale monitoring and reduce manual toil.
  • •Develop and improve the global SIRT/SOC tooling for alert quality, enrichment, case-management integrations, and automated follow-the-sun handoffs.
  • •Act as the primary Incident Commander for the European time zone, making critical time-sensitive decisions independently.
  • •Architect detection and response engineering strategy, optimizing and automating global hand-offs and follow-the-sun models.
  • •Lead forensics and threat hunting, and collaborate with Security and Engineering to respond to major vulnerabilities or platform-wide events.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years across security engineering, Infosec, IT, Infra/SRE, and/or Incident Response.
  • •7+ years specifically in Detection or Response, with a track record of building detections, automation, or security tooling (not only operating).
  • •Comfort writing and reviewing production-quality code (scripting) and building automations, integrations, and data pipelines.
  • •Extensive experience operating as an incident commander, with the executive presence to coordinate responders and communicate status.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience).
