Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute NPI and VAVE projects across multiple programs to achieve business goals and profit-plan objectives.
  • •Own end-to-end NPI responsibility: product conceptualization, detailing, design validation, and testing.
  • •Conduct cost-out workshops to identify cost saving opportunities and evaluate them.
  • •Design, validate, and release system, sub-system, and components; create CAD drawings/3D models/assemblies and ensure release in PLM/ERP.
  • •Create test plans to IEC/UL standards, define instrumentation and test object requirements, conduct tests, analyze results, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective/preventive actions.

Key Requirements

  • •BE / M.tech in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •3-5 years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
  • •Hands-on product cost-out experience from concept to commercialization, including detailing, designing, component/material selection, and drawings/3D modeling/toleranceing.
  • •Proficiency with GD&T, Six Sigma, DFMEA, DFMA, and UL/IEC certification work.
  • •Working knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD or SolidWorks required; CREO), plus SAP and ENOVIA, with experience across at least one full PDLC (VOC to production).
