Shape Airbus’s intellectual property and technology legal strategy as a Senior Legal Counsel for the Legal Affairs – Intellectual Property team. Key Responsibilities

•Advise senior stakeholders across Technology, Engineering, Digital Transformation and Procurement on strategic and operational IP & IT matters.
•Lead negotiations for complex R&D agreements, software licensing and cloud infrastructure contracts (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), and strategic corporate partnerships.
•Structure IP transactions and support M&A activities while safeguarding global trademark, copyright and trade secret portfolios.
•Provide legal direction on AI governance, AI/ML, regulatory trends and antitrust compliance.
•Direct complex IP disputes in collaboration with the Litigation team and manage external counsel with internal mentorship across multi-functional teams.

Salary: EUR 107,000 - 129,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Fully qualified lawyer under German or French law with strong background in IP/IT law.
•Experience in top-tier international law firms or global industrial enterprises (aerospace or high-tech background beneficial).
•Deep expertise negotiating complex tech transactions, cloud contracts, IP litigation, and supporting M&A.
•Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership, with ability to anticipate complex issues under pressure.
•Business fluency in English; German and/or French proficiency is a strong advantage.
