Job Summary

Help drive zero-waste efforts by sorting recycling, composting, and landfill materials after shows and educating fans and band members on venue sustainability goals. Partner with the Venue Sustainability Coordinator and support employee engagement programs like water bottle refill punch cards and post-show sort giveaways. You’ll also participate in Zero Waste Captain training while working in the venue operations team during show days.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in the post-show sorting of recycling, composting, and landfill materials.
•Serve as an ambassador to band members to help them understand their role in achieving venue sustainability goals.
•Support employee engagement programs such as water bottle refill punch cards and post-show sort giveaways.
•Engage fans and encourage participation in sustainability programs through activities or education.
•Participate in Zero Waste Captain training.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 16.4 - 20.5 hourly

Key Requirements

•Ability to spend about 90% of the time walking, bending, reaching, stooping, lifting and carrying 50 lbs, with about 65% spent sorting materials.
•Dedication to making a real, immediate impact to the sustainability cause.
•Able to work well with other departments and collaborate effectively.
•Experience in events; zero waste event experience is a plus.
•Positive attitude with creative problem-solving and strong teamwork to execute programs.
